Chicago Blackhawks 4 – Minnesota Wild 5

Highlights: Jason Zuker scored 18 seconds into the game and assisted on Nino Niederreiter’s winner to lead the Minnesota Wild to a 5-4 win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday night. Ryan Carter, Charlie Coyle and Jared Spurgeon also had goals for Minnesota, which dealt its playoff nemesis Chicago its second straight loss. Mikko Koivu added three assists, and Devan Dubnyk made 25 saves, as the Wild won their fifth straight at home to start the season. Jonathan Toews scored twice for the Blackhawks, which finally snapped a 5-on-5 scoring drought. Brent Seabrook and Artem Anisimov had a goal each for Chicago and Scott Darling stopped 25 shots.

Chicago Bulls (1967 - Pres)Chicago Bulls 94 – Detroit Pistons 98

Highlights:  Marcus Morris scored 26 points, Andre Drummond had 20 points and 20 rebounds and the Detroit Pistons took control at the start of overtime to beat the Chicago Bulls 98-94 on Friday night. Detroit scored the first seven points of overtime, taking a 90-83 lead on Anthony Tolliver’s 3-pointer. Derrick Rose finished with eight points, and Jimmy Butler led the Bulls with 23.

Update:  Police:  Ratliff said He ‘felt like killing everybody’ – Former Chicago Bears defensive lineman Jeremiah Ratliff said he “felt like killing everybody” at the team facility the day before he was released by the Bears, according to a police report. Ratliff also called himself “the devil” and said he wanted staff members’ children to die, the report said. Ratliff’s agent Mark Slough said in a statement that his client does not remember anything stated in the police report. Ratliff is undergoing treatment for an injury suffered Oct. 18 against the Detroit Lions, Slough said.
