Nets Acquire McDaniels From Rockets – In a move to add salary-cap space, the Houston Rockets traded forward K.J. McDaniels to the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday afternoon just before the 3 p.m. ET trade deadline, according to a source. The Rockets also traded Tyler Ennis to the Lakers in exchange for fellow guard Marcelo Huertas, a source said. Houston is expected to waive Huertas.
Bucks Send Hibbert to Nuggets – The Milwaukee Bucks have sent center Roy Hibbert to the Denver Nuggets for a future second-round pick, according to sources. Hibbert, who is 7-foot-2, is averaging 5.2 points and 3.6 rebounds in 42 games this season for Milwaukee and the Charlotte Hornets, who traded Hibbert to the Bucks earlier this month.
Raptors Deal Center Sullinger to Suns – The Toronto Raptors are sending center Jared Sullinger and two second-round draft picks to the Phoenix Suns for forward P.J. Tucker according to sources. Suns general manager Ryan McDonough was part of the Boston Celtics front office when Boston picked Sullinger 21st overall in 2012. Sullinger signed a one-year, $6 million deal with Toronto in the offseason after spending his first four seasons with the Celtics.
Suns Get Scott From Hawks For Cash – The Phoenix Suns are acquiring forward Mike Scott from the Atlanta Hawks for cash, according to sources. Scott is in his fifth NBA season, all with Atlanta. After playing in more than 65 games in each of the previous three seasons, Scott has appeared only 18 times for the Hawks this year after dealing with a knee injury. He is averaging 2.5 points and 10.8 minutes this season.
