Image result for jordan crawfordPelicans Keeping Crawford With 2-Year Deal – Jordan Crawford has agreed to a two-year contract with the New Orleans Pelicans, a league source confirmed. The team said it will keep the guard with the Pelicans for their remaining 14 games this season. The second year of the contract has a guaranteed date for 2017-18, according to The Vertical, which earlier reported Crawford’s pending deal. Crawford, 28, shined after signing a 10-day contract on March 6, averaging 14.2 points on 51 percent shooting and 3.2 assists off the bench in five games.

 

Celtics’ Isaiah Thomas Out 2 Games (Knee) – Boston Celtics All-Star point guard Isaiah Thomas will not travel with the team on its two-game road trip this weekend because of a right knee bone bruise, the Celtics announced Thursday. Thomas will miss Friday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets and Sunday’s matinee with the Philadelphia 76ers. Thomas played 32 minutes in Boston’s 117-104 triumph over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night and didn’t indicate any injury concerns while talking to reporters after the game.
