UPDATE:  Spurs Expect Lee (knee) to Miss Game 4San Antonio Spurs center David Lee is expected to miss Game 4 of the Western Conference finals because of a knee injury, coach Gregg Popovich said Sunday. An MRI confirmed that Lee has a partially torn patellar tendon, his agent Mark Bartelstein told ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne. He will be re-evaluated in a few days to determine whether surgery is needed, Bartelstein said. Lee suffered the injury during the Spurs’ Game 3 loss to the Warriors.


Kanter Wants to be American, Got Death ThreatsOklahoma City Thunder center Enes Kanter said he wants to become an American citizen and that the United States “is my home now.” Kanter also said he has received numerous death threats, mostly on social media, and that he already had received two death threats Monday. Kanter made his comments at a news conference in New York on Monday, two days after he was detained in a Romanian airport because his Turkish passport had been canceled.


Porzingis’ Brother Meets With Jackson – New York Knicks president Phil Jackson spoke recently with Kristaps Porzingis’ brother about the star forward skipping his exit meeting because of his frustration with the franchise, sources with knowledge of the meeting confirmed to ESPN. There was no substantial progress made during the conversation between Jackson and Janis Porzingis to settle the issues that prompted his brother to skip the meeting, according to sources. As of late last week, no member of the organization had spoken directly with Porzingis since he skipped the meeting shortly after the end of the regular season.
